A Love Vow
My Love moves me in strange, impossible ways. When I awake, dreams of my Love flutter off like butterflies; I sour until I once more behold my Love in reality. My Love’s greetings betray unspoken warmth. The tones escaping my Love’s lips paralyze me with bliss. I hang on them for hours, feasting on sugary music, until the sun sets. My Love’s worth eclipses the cruel world. So I entrust my Love to the protection of Death’s waiting arms with a hot kiss and a cold blade.
